You will thank yourself later. The Bear Archery Brave Bow Set includes 2 safety glass arrows, an armguard, 2-piece arrow quiver, finger tab, whisker biscuit arrow rest, 1-pin sight, and a temporary tattoo. Save yourself the time and agony, spend the extra money and get a decent bow. There are some good points to some of the construction, but they are rendered meaningless due to the multitude of other problems. I possibly could have altered the rest by tearing off the top portion of it, but by this time my patience had run out. We had to aim a full two feet to the left to hit the target at 12 yards. The sight adjusted all the way over would not come close to compensating. It guarantees that the arrow drags through the rest and flips off to the right of where you are aiming. Knocking the arrow at different (and odd) angles helped a little, but not enough. The arrows would dive into the ground a few feet short of the target. The first problem was the sight would not adjust low enough. Once the newly created sight, which we made to the same dimensions as the old one, was securely installed we tried out the bow. All of this we pressed on with, modifying and creating new parts determined to make it work. These two screws are also too short which contributes to the poor fit. The holes in the plastic handle are too large or the screws are too small and do not tighten down. The bracket for the sight is held on by two tapping screws. The instructions were OK, but illustrations did not match the supplied hardware for the sight. The stresses of installing probably weakened the plastic. The threads of the thumb screw that holds/adjusts the sight do not match up well with the threads of the site. The sight is cheap plastic and easily broken. That being said, I'll list all the things wrong with this bow. With the old bow my son, 10, was consistently shooting 6-10 inch groupings. I purchased this as a replacement bow for an old bow of a different brand.
